Yesterday I saw this guy; biggest spider I've ever seen in the "wild" ... so far.
The brick in the background is standard size so he's not THAT big
Look at me !I'm pretty sure he could hurt me, but he was very relaxed about the whole photoshoot, look at those fangs !
But not everything is dangerous down here, I found this guy, inside, right by the door.
I took a picture and let him out into the front flower bed.
Fence skink, on my finger (Finger skink?).
